Courtesy of BMGTamar Braxton isn’t the only celebrity that’s decided to recently shave off all of her hair.
India Arie has also chopped off her famous locks and on Thursday, she posted a fierce selfie of her fresh cut to prove it.
In the photo’s caption she writes, “It was time to let it go again. I Feel GOOD! REALLY Good. My love loves it LOL! my mom hates it [smiling face emoji] IM GOOD! #iamnotmyhair #iamlight #worthy #songversation #songversationmedicine.”
In case you’ve forgotten, this isn’t the first time India’s debuted a shaved head.
Friday, the “Video” singer shared a montage of pictures from previous years that show her with a variety of different hairstyles, including a shaven ‘do and an afro.
Adding lyrics to her hit song “I Am Not My Hair” in the caption, she also writes, “BEEN Black Girl Magic since before we were CALLING it Black Girl Magic. Don’t get it twisted now! #wakandaforever – But THIS me being ME. This is who I BEEN. I can’t even COUNT the times I’ve cut my hair lol – ya’ll know me.”
