Hi and thanks for checking out my page! I'm host of the "Sound Morning Drive" weekday mornings from 6am to Noon.
I got my start in New London radio in the news department at sister stations WICH, WCTY and WKNL before being named Program Director of 98.7 WNLC in 2005.
My wife Donnel and I live in Connecticut's quit corner where our adopted cat Ms. Daisy (Killingly Animal Shelter) has lots of land to roam on.
I'm a veteran of the U.S. Navy (VXE-6) where I spent time in New Zealand, Hawaii, Antarctica and other places. We love to travel so if you have some cool travel stories email them to me at chris@wnlc.com. I previously worked in the semiconductor industry before pursuing my love of broadcasting.

Word is, this guy made it to the top 24 on American Idol. His name is Andrew Garcia.....he's singing "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5. Sounds pretty good to me!

Olathe, Kansas girls basketball coach Joel Branstrom was supposed to be the victim of a prank. He was told he would win tickets to college basketball's Final Four if he could make a half-court shot while blindfolded. The fans were going to cheer when he inevitably missed, making him think he'd won the tickets. Except he actually made the shot. Oops.
